ABOUT THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Oversight:
- Lead and oversee electrical engineering projects from start to finish.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, spanning residential and commercial projects of varying complexity.
2. Electrical Design & Engineering:
- Design electrical systems, including distribution, transfer switching, UPS, grounding, lighting, life safety, emergency systems, fire alarms, and ICAT services (e.g., communication, AV, security systems).
3. Concept Design & Analysis:
- Develop concept designs, perform load calculations, create schematics, and prepare system reports.
- Analyze client proposals and specifications to deliver cost-effective engineering solutions.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage expectations, address additional service or fee requirements, and ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Mentor, coach, and develop the project team, ensuring technical accuracy and high-quality results.
- Delegate duties effectively while fostering team growth and success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in one or multiple states.
- 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, including leadership experience.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Strong knowledge of electrical requirements per building codes, energy codes, and related standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong client and project management expertise.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to delegate and inspire teams.
- LEED® Accredited Professional is preferred but not required.
