Project Coordinator

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 2-3 years industry experience in a coordinator role, specifically within Water and Sewer is a definite asset.
- Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, online
- Ability to understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience working with AutoCAD and 3D models
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and a basic understanding of MS Project
- Proven ability to understand construction contract terminology an asset
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, vendors as well as the entire team
- Prepare regular progress reports
- Prepare subcontracts, P.O’s, change orders and site instructions
- Participate in tender and contract preparation as well as partner with the Estimator to assemble bids, track inquiries and requests for pricing.
- Maintain safety records and basic safety audits
- Compile Close-out Checklist and Submission of Close-out documents, prepare Certificates of Completion and arrange for Certificates of Publication at the time of Close-out
- Participate in project meetings/prepare minutes
- Administrative: scheduling meetings, communications, email correspondence, letters, couriers, etc.
