Salary: Up to $100k
Our client was established in 1978 and is a leader in the commercial roofing industry. They are known for their commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and offer services in new construction, re-roofs, and preventative maintenance across multiple states.
The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wall Panel Systems Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in estimating ACM panels and other wall panel systems. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and competitive bids, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for ACM panels and other wall panel systems for commercial and residential projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Evaluate and identify potential risks and opportunities associated with each project.
- Prepare and present bid proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Track and manage changes to project scope, budget, and timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth project transitions from estimation to execution.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and subcontracts with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating wall panel systems, with a strong emphasis on ACM panels.
- Proven experience in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
