HVAC Sales Representative

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with one of the most trusted names within the HVAC space in North America. Our client is a manufacturer & distributor and carries one of the most comprehensive product lines in the industry. They are in search of a new HVAC Sales Rep to join their team, this will be based out of their Victoria branch.

This position will have a blend of inside sales & outside sales responsibilities.

Compensation is in the $100,000-$120,000 range, combined salary & additional earnings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Negotiations: Secure projects by negotiating with clients and staying informed about the job market.
  • Order Management: Process customer orders after receipt of approved submittals and handle change orders and site instructions, including pricing adjustments.
  • Customer Interaction: Resolve discrepancies with customers or site contacts regarding orders and provide regular updates on delivery status.
  • Project Closure: Ensure projects are fully invoiced and maintenance documentation is submitted to close out completed projects.
  • Quote Generation: Provide quotes for jobs not listed on bid boards, including email requests, and ensure quotes are accurately entered with the correct product codes
  • Order and Bid Review: Evaluate purchase orders and bid documents to maximize profitability.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain a customer service approach, improving service quality, minimizing costs, and enhancing the company’s competitive edge.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-term customer relationships through open communication and trust.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the HVAC, or similar industry.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing projects and teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and resourceful, with a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Professional demeanor and approach to business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • A strong work ethic, with integrity and respect for colleagues and clients alike.
