Customer Care Coordinator – High-Rise Residential Construction

Location: North York, Ontario
Compensation: $70K-$80K plus package

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Customer Care Coordinator to join our customer service department in North York, specializing in high-rise residential construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and navigating the complexities of the Tarion Warranty Program. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our clients receive outstanding service and support through every stage of their home buying process.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) with homeowners, ensuring all construction standards and client expectations are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries related to PDIs, Tarion warranty coverage, and post-occupancy support.
  • Address and resolve customer issues in accordance with Tarion guidelines, aiming for first-contact resolution where possible.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all customer interactions, inspection outcomes, and any corrective actions taken.
  • Educate clients on their warranty rights and responsibilities under the Tarion program.
  • Collaborate closely with the construction and project management teams to provide feedback from customers and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer service role within the real estate or construction industry, particularly with high-rise residential projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Tarion Warranty Program and its application in new home construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed and effective PDIs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse client groups.
  • High level of organization and proficiency in managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
