Our client has a long history of offering the highest quality custom manufacturing products to a diverse clientele across the globe. They’re seeking an innovative and experience Process Engineer to aid in the new product development and process creation for their industrial clients in defense, energy and transportation sectors.  This is an incredible opportunity for an experience process engineer to be the center in creating new product specifications and the optimization of production on the line.  The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and experience in industrial manufacturing process improvement.

The Role:
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
  • Develop and maintain sequence of operations to produce parts in conformance with product drawings and customer specifications.
  • Specify and/or design tooling required to produce parts.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to include CNC programs and operational drawings to give operators information to complete operation/s.
  • Perform as shop liaison to solve manufacturing problems to maintain production schedules.
  • Develop, comply with, and support AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and work instructions to maintain company certifications and compliance with customer requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 5 years engineering experience in manufacturing environment
  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - This position may require exposure to information subject to US export control regulations
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical knowledge with the ability to resolve and provide technical solutions, with preference given to those with prior gear manufacturing exposure
  • Ability to inspect all requirements and program analytical inspection equipment
  • Working knowledge of GDT and CMM inspection methods is preferred
  • CAD software knowledge, Prefer experience in Autocad and Solidworks.
  • Knowledge of work holding applications and gage design
  • Continuous improvement mindset and/or knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma methodologies
  • Precision machining background is preferred
  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment, strong bias for action
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to Travel within the USA to other locations as needed
