Position Title: Construction Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee on-site activities with a proactive approach, demonstrating strong planning, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities include coordinating all on-site aspects of projects, with a focus on ensuring health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules within the ICI sector.
• Oversee, schedule, and coordinate workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, clients, and regulatory bodies to fulfill project objectives.
• Manage procurement of materials and supplies.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain project progress, documenting any additional costs for review.
• Adhere to fiscal policies established by management.
• Conduct site meetings as necessary.
• Provide regular safety reports and lead safety discussions.
• Ensure compliance with IHSA Regulations and relevant health and safety protocols.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Eligibility for health, dental, and retirement benefits.
• Compliance with IHSA standards and ability to pass a police background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Red Seal trade journeyman certification.
• Experience with Certificate of Recognition (COR) program.
• Proficiency in Gantt charts and essential software such as Excel, Word, and Project.
• Possession of Gold Seal certificate.
