Position Title: Finishing Superintendent

.Responsibilities:

• Supervise contractors to ensure projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors for timely and quality completion of finishing works
• Conduct inspections to ensure finishing quality meets standards
• Maintain accurate records of finishing activities and progress reports
• Review drawings and submittals for compliance with project specifications
• Conduct regular inspections to verify work progress and compliance
• Maintain updated 'as built' drawings
• Compile and submit project closeout documents, including O&M manuals and warranties
• Halt work if safety or quality concerns arise
• Prepare daily job diaries
• Ensure site compliance with the Health & Safety Plan
• Monitor on-site operations for quality compliance and address issues
• Communicate effectively with the project team to resolve design discrepancies

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a construction-related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in stack townhouse or mid-rise/high-rise residential construction
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and Microsoft Project software
• Leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year, with additional benefits
