Job Title: Wildfire Program Manager

Location: Flexible within Alberta (Main Offices in Edmonton and Calgary) 

Schedule: Hybrid schedule - Tue-Thu in-office, Mon/Fri remote

Duties:

• Lead the strategic development and implementation of a comprehensive Wildfire Program
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish best practices
• Drive forward innovative initiatives to mitigate wildfire risks and enhance community safety
• Develop and execute tailored outreach and education campaigns to raise awareness
• Cultivate a culture of excellence and accountability within the Wildfire Program team
• Oversee budgetary allocations and resource management to ensure program success
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on wildfire mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in wildfire mitigation or related field
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale program initiatives
• Strong understanding of wildfire behavior, mitigation techniques, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strategic thinking
• Relevant certifications or training in wildfire management are highly desirable
