Project Manager (High-Rise Residential)

About the Role

We are on the lookout for experienced Project Managers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The selected candidates will oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they meet financial, technical, and quality standards. Building and maintaining positive relationships with all project stakeholders will be a key responsibility.

Kitchener-Waterloo

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and enforce company safety policies, coordinating with Safety Managers to meet safety goals.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, financial forecasting, and status reporting.
  • Direct and supervise project administration, engineering staff, and work collaboratively with project superintendents.
  • Implement and enforce construction site rules and procedures, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design partners, handling day-to-day communications.
  • Manage subcontractor contracts, project costs, revenue tracking, and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Conduct internal and client-facing project status reviews and reports.
  • Handle invoicing, progress payments, and financial management tasks.
  • Strategize staffing, personnel development, and ensure compliance with training and regulatory standards.
  • Resolve issues related to labor, staffing, materials, and contract administration.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on significant project developments.

Qualifications:

  • Over 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and other project/cost management tools.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
