THE JOB
The Technologist position will require thorough knowledge of building technology wood-frame projects - specifically retail such as grocery stores, hospitality, multi-family or mixed use work. This role will have focus in creating complex blueprints, working drawings and construction documents. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Architectural or Building Technologist will need excellent project management and leadership skills. This is a very collaborative and collective team with an excellent and inclusive working environment and an organization that allows the flexibility to design and learn as their career moves forward.

WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
- Bachelor's in Architecture/Architectural Technologist/Building Technologist Certificate from a recognized institution '
- 5+ years' experience in North America as a technologist or designer
- Experience working with multi-family residential experienced required (woodframe apartment buildings are a must - at east 3 to 5 projects of this typology)
- Excellent experience working with Photoshop, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
- REVIT experience is essential
- Proven experience working with municipal approvals processes and city permits
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Able to travel to the office to work, with possibility of a hybrid model
- Open to candidates relocating from other provinces
