Our client, a respected construction company in the GTA region, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring that all project objectives are met. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction project management and a proven track record of successful project execution.

Yearly Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to define project goals and scope.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage all project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Proactively identify and address project risks and issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project.
• Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders and manage client expectations.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports and presentations.
• Implement effective project communication and documentation systems.
• Lead project teams and provide guidance to project coordinators.
• Evaluate project performance and conduct post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of overseeing diverse projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, CM, etc.) are a plus.
• Strong financial acumen for budget management.
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
