Are you a sales professional from the roofing industry who has top notch management skills? Excellent at leading people with a knack for connecting with developers and property management companies as well as with residential homeowners?? We are seeking a high level, success driven individual to head up the renovation division for an established roofing company to expand their client base and serve residential and property management markets across Toronto and the GTA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the operations of the sales division, estimating department, production and any other relevant divisions within the company are operating effectively and efficiently.
- Increase the overall sales volume for the company by exceeding corporate targets
- Generate leads, provide accurate quotes, and close sales effectively.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Identify opportunities for repairs and additional services.
- Lead the team by example i.e. lead generation, follow-up, successful project completions, cost control, inventory levels maintained.
- Work with Vendors and project management team to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential roofing sales or a related field.
- Past history of leadership.
- Proven experience selling to homeowners and property managers.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, including shingles, modified bitumen, and peel-and-stick systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Hiring and training of all new staff and mentoring all players under your umbrella.
- Maintain existing relationships while fostering new.
- Develop sales strategies and implementing and monitoring success.
- Assist and oversee production and service.
- A problem solving approach when and as needed.
- Ensure quality of all work by all departments.
- Stay on top of industry trends.
- Monitor receivables ensuring minimal overdue accounts.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary $150,000.00 (commensurate with experience).
