Senior Project Manager – Complex Commercial Roofing

Location: Laurel, MD (Relocation welcome!)
Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year + Bonuses

Join our client, a respected leader in commercial roofing, waterproofing, and restoration services, as their Senior Project Manager. What You’ll Do

  • Manage High-Profile Projects:
    • Lead large-scale roofing, waterproofing, and restoration projects ($5M+), including multi-level and occupied facilities such as hospitals, schools, and government buildings.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance:
    • Implement and uphold strict safety protocols, adhering to OSHA regulations and site-specific requirements.
  • Deliver Operational Excellence:
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution within timelines and budgets.
  • Strategize and Solve Problems:
    • Assess risks, devise mitigation plans, and provide innovative solutions to overcome project challenges.
  • Drive Results:
    • Conduct post-project analysis, track metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
 
What You Bring
 
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience managing multi-million-dollar commercial roofing or building envelope projects.
    • Expertise with systems like TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofing.
    • Knowledge of waterproofing solutions and complex building envelope restoration.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with project management tools like Procore, Edge Estimating, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with occupied facility project management, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Certifications:
    • OSHA 30/500 certifications (required). Additional certifications like EM 385 or LEED are a strong plus.
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
