A well-established design build firm in Belleville with extensive expertise in commercial and industrial projects seeks an experienced architectural designer or technologist. You will work on dynamic projects alongside seasoned PMs and construction managers. You are highly organized and seek a long-term opportunity that involves project coordination across multiple stakeholders - not simply doing production of drawings. They seek someone with:

• Minimum 3-5 years Canadian experience; solid OBC and building science skills; preference to BCIN certification or internationally trained professionals with experience working on mid-sized commercial and industrial projects     
• Candidates with design experience in wall systems and well as roof trussing components; willingness to learn about energy efficiency SB-10 & u-factor impact on insulation  

• High level of detailing and experience working with architects and engineers - only candidates with a portfolio (preferably excluding residential projects) to be considered 

• Ability to complete a set of drawings including site plans, elevations, foundations, floor plan, sections and details - high level attention to detail
• An individual that is highly organized, teachable, not afraid to ask questions - committed to long-term professional growth    
• Nice to have: candidates that know Revit, Sketchup or Lumion to develop renderings.
• Nice to have: experience with SPAs, working with municipalities for approval and Canadian experience with site visits to develop scope of work 
• Requires someone committed to continual learning; developing A-Z   skills (conceptualization to close out) with discriminating clients
