THE ROLE
As a Civil Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing residential, subdivision, and land development projects. You will leverage your expertise to design and implement comprehensive civil engineering solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, leading project teams while maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of residential and subdivision projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Utilize Civil 3D software to create detailed designs for utilities, drainage, grading, and paving.
- Take raw land and independently develop comprehensive design plans (e.g., for 100-acre sites).
- Act as the primary contact for clients, maintaining communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess client needs and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
What's Required
- 4-8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Active Texas P.E. License or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of local municipalities and agencies in the Texas area.
- Proven experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (knowledge of Bluebeam, ProjectWise, and MS Project is a plus).
- Familiarity with all aspects of land development, including stormwater management, roadways, and site grading.
- Strong communication, public speaking, and technical writing skills.
