Our client is seeking a talented individual who enjoys a client facing role, business development and project delivery to step into a Principal Architect position for their Commercial studio in their Sacramento location. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The Principal Architect will have excellent leadership skills in overseeing the success of the Commercial division/sector and being a key contributor to business development activities and initiatives. The role will have a strong focus on relationships, client management, bringing in projects, service delivery, and overseeing the development and implementation of the sector marketing plan and strategy. Working with the executive team, you will look at strategic direction, working to align standards on a regional level and set obtainable goals and objectives.

This candidate will have the following aspects;
- Possess a Masters degree in Architecture, AIA Registered preferred
- 10 - 25 years of industry experience, with at least 3-5 years of leadership experience from within North America
- Strong project management capabilities and experience is essential
- Experience with business development strategies in the local market and passion to build and foster new relationships
- Prior track record of bringing in projects
- Excellent knowledge of the commercial market sector and experience working with commercial projects
- High energy, innovative thinking and a flexible approach to work
- Passion for design and architecture with a strong leadership
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working within the commercial architecture sector
